Freestyle Fitness is BACK

After a lengthy hiatus, Freestyle Fitness is back and better than ever! We’ve consolidated and updated our offerings to give you three ways to get your sweat on. In addition to our beloved cardio kickboxing, our schedule includes Total Body and Fighter’s HIIT, with classes offered six days a week. Let’s take a closer look.

Cardio Kickboxing

This 45-minute class is inspired by martial arts, which means elements of Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai and American boxing meet for a heart-pumping burn. Challenging combinations of punches, strikes, and kicks are set to fast-paced music for an exhilarating good time. This is Reno’s original cardio kickboxing, and we still do it best!

Total Body

This boot camp class is structured with intervals and incorporates resistance in the form of bands, balls, and body weight. Resistance training is key for building muscle, strengthening bones, and changing body composition. It’s a fantastic balance to the cardio focus of kickboxing, and for a well-rounded approach to fitness, it’s something you can’t skip.

Fighter’s HIIT

A combination of two classes from the original Freestyle Fitness line-up, this class is another interval-based workout with high-intensity rounds and a mix of gear, including heavy bags, ground bags, medicine balls, and body weight. It’s a great blend of movements to work your cardiovascular and muscular systems, increasing strength, agility, and speed.

A few notes about our fitness classes. First, they’re all 45 minutes long, co-ed, and you don’t need any fitness or martial arts experience to get started. If you have any questions, we’re here to answer them!
